A home is not a backdrop. It is a slow accumulation of the things you love — the chair that knew three generations before yours, the gilded mirror that catches the morning light, the small bronze you bought on a whim and cannot imagine the room without. We believe these objects matter. They hold us in place.

At Peacock’s Finest, we spend our days in search of them.

Our attention lingers on the 18th and 19th centuries, where craftsmanship was a discipline and beauty was not in a hurry. Fine furniture, unusual objects, pieces with provenance and a story worth telling. We bring each one home carefully — researching its past, conserving what time has spared, restoring with traditional hands what time has not. A good piece is a conversation with its maker. We try not to interrupt.
For more than a decade, collectors and interior designers have trusted us to find what they could not find alone. Our membership in LAPADA and our presence at the jury-vetted fairs in Olympia and Berkeley Square reflect the standards we hold ourselves to — rigorously, and without compromise.

Our Pimlico gallery has closed its doors, and we now welcome clients by appointment at a private showroom in Richmond, tucked into one of the gentlest corners of London. It is a place for unhurried looking. For those drawn to the rare, the singular, the unexpected. Photographs flatten what these pieces truly are; they ask to be seen in person, turned in the light, considered at leisure.
