This elegant little table is both useful and decorative, its restrained, slender design and superb craftsmanship make it a perfect cocktail table next to an easy chair. Unlike most recent replicas, this is a fine, heavy quality original period table, beautifully manufactured in France.

The metal frame shows traces of the original gilding which is mostly rubbed off; the heavy weight of the frame and reddish-brown colour under the gilding suggests the use of copper alloy for the frame, and the original, salmon-pink marble slab has the most beautiful, soft silky sheen.
