A very fine pair of late Regency mahogany hall chairs; possibly Irish, c. 1825.
The shaped shield backs carved with acanthus scroll motifs, above the balloon-shaped figured mahogany seats raised on turned and tulip-carved tapering front legs and sabre back supports.
Fantastic colour and patina.
