Fine George II Walnut Needlework Stool

Fine early 18th century George II period dressing stool in black walnut, of generous proportions, covered in extremely fine late 17th / early 18th century English gros and petit point needlework.

Why we like it
A very well-drawn example of great colour, but what makes it really special is the superb late 17th - early 18th century museum quality needlework, retaining its vibrant original colours.
