Superb mid-19th century Victorian period opaline glass and brass table lamp of large scale. 

English, circa 1840–60. 

Why we like it

Rich and contrasting in texture without the risk of appearing too ornate, this lamp is a rare surviving example of this design. Originally an oil lamp, it was converted to electricity early in the 20th century.

Please note that the shade shown is suitable for the UK and EU fittings only and may be supplied with the lamp upon request, please enquire. The lamp may be re-wired for any country.
