A fine English 19th century library armchair, of well-shaped outline and desirable generous proportions.
Why we like it
Its beautifully patinated studded leather, oversize proportions and extremely well drawn shape surely make this superb library chair a rare and desirable find. Unusually, the legs are painted to simulate satinwood with subtle neoclassical decoration (refreshed). This chair's most amazing graphic quality that gives it a contemporary feel, at the same time being very traditional. With its feather-filled squab cushion, it is very comfortable, too.
