Large scale chairs in George III Chippendale style,
Scotland, 19th century.
Why we like them
These generously proportioned, extra comfortable dining chairs are distinguished by their purest timeless design, known to have been supplied by Thomas Chippendale to a number of patrons, including Sir Rowland Wynn at Nostell Priory in 1760's. Unusually made in laburnum, which indicates their Scottish origin.
